Karthi's Alex Pandian set for big release in Kerala

Karthi’s Alex Pandian is all set to release in Kerala. The film directed by Suraaj is an action entertainer and is having Anushka and Santhanam also in the cast.

It is reported that the Kerala distribution rights of the film has been taken for a record price of Rs.1.10 crore. The film is expected to be a Jan 2013 release. It has to be noted that Karthi has a huge market in Telugu and with Alex Pandian he is cementing his place in the Kerala market too.

The film’s audio launch will be held on Dec 12 on the birthday of Superstar Rajinikanth in Chennai. Alex Pandian is the character name of Rajinikanth in his film Moondru Mugam. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for the film and the songs are expected to be peppy and energetic to match the high octane action film’s pace.
