Lingusamy does not want compensation for Kadal

It’s a known fact the distributors of Mani Ratnam’s Kadal suffered financial losses as the film did not do well. Some of the distributors, including Mannan Films have been asking Mani Ratnam to compensate for the losses. Fearing attacks, Mani Ratnam has filed a police complaint and sought police protection. Director and producer Lingusamy also distributed the film through his Tirupathi Brothers in three areas in Tamil Nadu and suffered losses. However, he has revealed that he will not knock the director’s door for asking compensation.


Lingusamy has said that film trade, like any other business has losses and profits and it’s all part of it. He added that Mani sir is his guru, and he respects him a lot as a filmmaker. Click the Movie button below for more info:
