Mani Ratnam introduces Kadal team

In a press meet held today at Chennai, diector Mani Ratnam introduced the star cast and musicians of his upcoming film Kadal.

Suhasini Mani Ratnam introduced Action King Arjun, who is acting in Kadal. Arjun also anchored the show. Arvind Swamy and Arjun together gave some interesting moments due to their banter.

Actor Karthik introduced his son Gautham Karthik, the hero of the film and they stole the show with their friendly interaction on the stage.Mani Ratnam introduced Thulasi Nair, the heroine of the film.

Ace lyricist Vairamuthu and his son Madhan Karky were present at the event. Vairamuthu has written three of the five songs and Karky has written two songs for Kadal. Vairamuthu gave a speech mentioning his long association with Mani and AR Rahman.

AR Rahman mesmerised the audience by rendering three of his favourite tunes he had composed for Mani.Mani Ratnam thanked Rahman for all the good tunes he gave him in the last 20 years for which Rahman’s replied, “Mani sir is my guru.”
