Nayanthara starts the remake of Kahaani

Actress Nayanthara has started shooting for the remake of Bollywood hit film Kahaani. Sekhar Kammulais directing the bilingual in Telugu and Tamil and the shooting started on April 28 in Hyderabad.

Nayanthara participated in the shooting on Sunday. In the original film, the film has Kolkata has the backdrop. Instead of Kolkata, the film will be set in old Hyderabad. The director is planning to complete the film in 50 days’ time and the shoot will go non-stop in old Hyderabad.

The character name of Vidya Balan in the original film was Vidya Bagchi. Nayanthara’s character name is Anamika in the film. The untitled film is being produced by Endemol India, Log line Productions and Select Media Holdings.
