NEP is for women, Gautham

Neethane En Ponvasantham (NEP) starring Jiiva and Samantha was released last Friday. The film is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon who is known as the ‘wizard of romance.’

Now the ace director has updated in his micro blogging page that the film NEP is for women. “All you women in the city and everywhere else..go for neethaane..and yeto veli.. this one's for you ladies..”, he updated.

NEP is a collection the several moments in the life of the lead pair starting from their school days. An official press statement from the NEP team has stated that the film has got an encouraging response from audience especially women, and the reason seems to be very natural character sketch of Nithya, a fact that encourages the director. Actress Samantha enacted the role of Nithya. It also stated that it is not often that a movie shows the flick in the light of the female audience.
