Shankar releases, STR receives

The audio of Santhanam’s debut production venture Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya KLTA) was launched by director Shankar at the Devi Complex in Chennai. The first copy of the audio was received by STR, who introduced Santhanam to films through his Manmadhan. Thaman has scored the music for the film, which has lyrics by Vaali and Vivega.

On the occasion, Santhanam gave an emotionally moving speech in which he thanked STR for launching him in films and also described him to be his godfather. Director Shankar, who is featuring Santhanam in his I was all praise for the comedian and appreciated his punctuality.

Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya is being produced by Santhanam’s Handmade Productions and Ramanarayanan’s Thenandal Films. The film stars Santhanam, Powerstar Srinivasan, Sethu and Vishakha Singh. Gautham Menon and STR have done special appearances in the film. The movie is expected to be a laugh riot, and is about three lovers trying to woo a single girl. Balasubramaniem has cranked the camera for the film.
