Chennai, Jan 3 (IANS) Tamil actor Jiiva said Thursday that he shared great comradeship with co-star Vikram in the forthcoming bilingual action-thriller "David" and he felt like he was working with his own brother.

"I feel proud to have worked with Vikram, whom I've always looked up to for many years. He's very encouraging and accommodative and working with him was like working with my own brother," Jiiva told reporters at the audio launch of Tamil version of "David".

Jiiva and Vikram star in the Tamil version alongside Isha Sharvani, Lara Dutta and Tabu.

In the Hindi version, except Jiiva, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Vinay Virmani feature along with the rest of the cast.

"David", which is directed by Bejoy Nambiar, is jointly produced by Getaway films and Reliance Entertainment. It is coming out Feb 1.

Speaking at the event, Vikram said: "It was exhausting working with Bejoy but the amount of hard work he puts in to finally draw the desired output makes everything count".

The film's ensemble soundtrack features 9 tracks composed by Dub Sharma, Bramfatura, Anirudh Ravichander, Maatibaani, Modern Mafia, Remo Fernandes and Prashant Pillai.
