Simran's role in Dhruva Natchathiram

Simran is making a comeback to acting but with mother roles. She will be essaying the role of actor Suriya's mother in Gautham Menon’s upcoming film, Dhruva Natchathiram.

It has to be recalled that Simran did a similar role in Vaaranam Aayiram that had Suriya in the lead with Gautham Menon as director. But that was at the peak of her career.

Though the official announcement about the heroine is yet to come, it is heard that Amala Paul and Trisha are the strong contenders in the fray. Parthiban and Sundhanshu Pandey will also be part of the cast.
