Singam 2 to release on July 5

Suriya starrer Singam 2 directed by Hari will be releasing on July 5. Prince Pictures, the producers of the film has confirmed the date of release.

The film is an action drama and is a sequel to Singam. Suriya essays the role of Durai Singam, a tough cop. Anushka and Hansika are the leading ladies in the film. The film has an ensemble cast that includes Santhanam, Vivekh and Manorama. Anjali also appears in a dance sequence in the film.

Singam 2 will have a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for the film.
