Suhasini plays Ramanujan's mother

Director Gnana Rajasekaran has commenced shooting for his upcoming bio-pic on Srinivasa Ramanujan, the ace mathematician.

The film is a bilingual in English and Tamil and has Abhay, grandson of Gemini Ganesan essaying the role of Ramaujan. Actress Bhama plays his wife. The film has started shooting in Kumbakonam and Suhasini is playing the role of Ramanujan’s mother.

The team has already canned a song sequence involving Suhasini and the young Ramanujan in a temple. It is reported that the shoot will go on for about 20 days.
