Thuppakki crosses 50

Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer Thuppakki completed its successful 50-day run in the theatres on Jan 1. Thuppakki has become the third highest grossing film in Kollywood and the only blockbuster in 2012. The film directed by AR Murugadoss was a smash hit and the director is now working on its Hindi remake with Akshay Kumar in the lead.

The film’s cinematographer was Santhosh Sivan and Harris Jayaraj has scored the music. Kajal Aggarwal was paired opposite Vijay in the film.
