Title issue again in Kollywood

Title issues of Tamil films have been in the news for quite sometime. The latest to join the list are 'VU' and 'Woo'. Phoenix Pictures is producing a film titled 'Vu' with Thambi Ramaiah in a prominent character. The film also has Super Singer fame Aajith. Aashik directs the film. Vu team has given newspaper advertisements and they claim that they have registered the title in 2012 itself.

Now another film with the same title but with the English spelling 'Woo' has given advertisements. Jayaprakash, a former associate of Keyar directs the film. Produced by SS Vasan of F1 Studios the film has Richard, Aishwarya and Vidhya in the lead.

Though both the films has different spelling in English, in Tamil they have the same name. Now the 'Vu' team says that they have decided to fight against 'Woo' team as they have registered the title first.
