TM Soundararajan is no more

Veteran Tamil playback singer TM Soundararajan (TMS) died at his residence in Mylapore, Chennai today. He was 91 years and is survived by his wife and two sons. He has been ailing for some time due to breathlessness.

TMS has sung maximum number of songs for MG Ramachandran and Sivaji Ganesan. He was active as a playback singer for more than four decades and has sung for almost all the heroes of that period. He has sung several devotional songs too.

He last sung for the theme song for World Classical Tamil Conference under AR Rahman’s music direction.
