What prevented Ajay Devgun from attending Singam 2 audio launch?

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn was supposed to be the special guest for the audio launch of Hari’s directorial Singam 2 starring Suriya, which was held in Chennai on June 2.

But to the disappointment of Suriya and the fans, he could not attend the event. Apparently the weather played spoil sport. Ajay and Rohit Shetty had taken a chartered flight from Mumbai but they couldn’t land in Chennai due to bad weather. Instead, they were asked to land in Bangalore.Though they planned to drive down to Chennai, that too did not happen.

It has been reported that though Suriya organized another aircraft, a Falcon, to ferry them to Chennai from Bangalore, it was not of much help. Finally the duo landed in Ahmedabad and spent the night in a five-star hotel and flew back to Mumbai.
