Tanya Ravichandran replaces Lakshmi Menon

Tanya Ravichandran, granddaughter of veteran actor Late Ravichandran made her Tamil debut through Sasikumar’s Bale Vellaya Thevaa. Although the film did not do well, Tanya got a good appreciation for her performance in the film.

As per the latest report, she has replaced Lakshmi Menon in Karuppan in Renigunta fame Pannerselvam directorial. Initially Lakshmi Menon was brought on board and she had also acted with Vijay Sethupathi in Rekka.

But now, Tanya will be replacing her in this rural centric action entertainer that also will have Bobby Simha playing the baddie. AM Rathnam is producing this flick while Imman is scoring the music and Ramji is the DoP. It has to be noted that it was Keerthy Suresh who was first talked to be in this project and then Ritika Singh was said to have signed. Tanya will be the fourth heroine now.
