Technology definitely killed romance: Karan Johar

Karan Johar, highly successful as a director ever since he made his entry with the romantic movie "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", says increased use of technology in daily lives nowadays is taking real romance away from people.

"Technology definitely killed romance.... how can Facetime and Skype ever replace waiting and longing for your loved one", Karan tweeted on Saturday.

Karan's movies have all been about love and loved ones. From "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai", "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham" to "My Name Is Khan" and "Student of the Year", love has been a recurring theme in all his directorials.
