Telangana Sakuntala is no more

Tollywood has lost one more jewel. Telangana Sakuntala who is famous for her Telangana accent on screen breathed her last on Friday midnight. She suffered severe heart attack at her residence in Kompally. She was immediately shifted to a local hospital but by then the doctors declared her dead.

The 63 years old character artist made her filmy debut in 1981 with 'Maa Bhoomi' film and attained fame with Gulabi film. She appeared in more than 70 films and is famous for her characters in Nuvvu Nenu and Lakshmi films. She was equally known for her cruel roles as well as comedy roles. May her soul rest in Peace!
