Film based on Delhi gang-rape

The Delhi gang-rape has inspired Telugu director Ramana Gaddam to come up with film title "Nisha". Apparently the director wants to send out a strong message to the government and public.

The director has said that he is not trying to exploit the sensitivity of the issue and he wants to send the message through the film that such acts can't be taken lightly and the perpetrators should be punished severely. The film will have commercial elements apart from the rape issue and it will be a commercial entertainer.

The film stars Kiran Kumar, Ananya, Kalyan and Narsing in lead roles.

The film is produced by J. Dhanraj. Goldee, Sunny and Pranay Kumar have composed music.
