Chennai, Jan 21 (IANS) Telugu actor Sumanth, known for films such as "Satyam", "Mahanadi" and "Godavari", wants to be a baddie on the big screen and says he's been eyeing a negative role for quite some time.

"The agenda is to play a powerful negative lead this year. A strong negative role is something I've always wanted to do for as long as I can remember," Sumanth tweeted.

The 37-year-old debuted with Telugu romantic-drama "Prema Katha", and since then has gone on to prove his mettle in films like "Madhumasam" and "Golconda High School".

His two Telugu films in the offing include crime-drama "Twist", in which he will share the screen space with Varun Sandesh, and a yet-to-be-titled film by director Siddhartha.
