Injury makes Sonu Sood back out of Zanjeer

Actor Sonu Sood suffered major injuries while playing for Mumbai Heroes in the CCL match held in Dubai. The actor was about to start shooting for the Telugu version of Zanjeer. This film stars Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead.

Sonu apparently suffered six fractures on his leg and had to undergo surgery. He will not be able to resume acting soon. Sonu Sood has confirmed that he will not be able to shoot for six weeks and he had informed all his producers about his surgery.

The actor had returned the advance he received for the film to the producers of Zanjeer. It is reported that actor Srihari will be replacing Sonu in the film. Aproorva Lakhia is directing the film and Amit Mehra is producing it. The film will be released in Telugu and Hindi in summer. Click the Movie button below for more info:
