Lakshmi Manchu had a narrow escape

Actress Lakshmi Manchu had a narrow escape recently. The actress was on a canoe ride with another actor in the backwaters of Alappuzha in Kerala. But the canoe overturned and she was thrown into the water.

Lakshmi has stated that she to swim for more than a kilometre and finally a fishing boat came to her rescue. Lakshmi narrated the incident in her twitter account.

“Was on a canoe ride at the Alappuzha lake and our canoe flipped over and we were thrown off. We couldn’t get on the boat. Had to swim more than a kilometre. Was quite scary not knowing what was in the water. Snakes r a common sight there.”
