Naayak's title trouble

Ram Charan’s Naayak had a grand audio launch recently. The film starring Ram Charan in double roles has Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul in the lead. The film will be released on Jan 9. However, now a new problem has cropped up from some section of the society. A few student organisations have raised an issue saying that the film’s Naayak refers to a tribal group and hence should not be used for a film.

The film is directed by VV Vinayak and has music by Thaman. However, it is not clear as to what decision the filmmakers will take regarding the title issue.
