Nandini Reddy busy readying script for next

Chennai, March 11 (IANS) Nandini Reddy, one of the few successful female directors in the Telugu film industry, is busy scripting her next film and says she has not signed any producer for the new project.

"I'm still busy scripting my next film. In a month or two, I will officially announce details about my next project. I haven't signed on any producer yet, but I'm in talks with a few," Nandini told IANS.

She debuted as a director with Telugu romantic-comedy "Ala Modalaindi", which starred Nani and Nithya Menon. Made on a budget of Rs.4 crore, the film garnered over Rs. 15 crore and became one of the biggest hits of 2011.

Her second film "Jabardasth" was also a romantic-comedy. Starring Siddharth Narayan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, this one did average business at the box office.

Queried about the genre of the film, she said, "I can't reveal it at the moment but it's definitely something I haven't done before," she said.
