Newcomer Vidyullekha finds Junior NTR 'benevolent'

Chennai, April 4 (IANS) He may be a superstar, grandson of legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) senior, but at heart he is very "kind" -- feels southern actress Vidyullekha Raman, who recently worked him in an upcoming yet-to-be-titled Telugu project.

"I was extremely nervous to act opposite him (junior NTR) since the beginning. I was more worried because I was a newcomer and how would I be treated. He may be a superstar, but he is extremely kind to his co-actors," Vidyullekha told IANS.

"I was amazed by the fact that despite being a superstar, he took out time whenever possible to teach me on the sets. Which superstar would go out of his way to help a newcomer," she added.

She plays NTR's friend in the film, which is directed by Harish Shankar.

"Unlike my other films, where I usually play the heroine's friend, I'm playing NTR's friend in this film. A lot of importance has been given to my character and it has come out very well," she said.

The film also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Shruti Haasan. It is produced by Dil Raju.

Meanwhile, Vidyullekha finished filming for Tamil romantic-comedy "Theeya Vela Seiyyanum Kumaru" and Telugu romance "Weekend Love".

She has also bagged Ajith Kumar's untitled new Tamil film, for which she will start shooting soon.
