Thala 56 is titled as Vedhalam

Ajithkumar’s 56th film, which was being called as Thala56 till now finally gets its name as announced by his PR machinery yesterday, the 23rd September. The film is titled as Vedhalam which means a kind of ghost or a spirit.

Vedhalam is directed by Siva who earlier worked with Ajith in Veeram. Vedhalam features Shruti Haasan as Ajith’s heroine with Lakshmi Menon, Kabir Singh and others in supporting cast.

The film is produced by Sri Sai Ram Creations which has music of Anirudh Ravichander and camera of Vetri. The film is one of the most anticipated films by Ajith fans and is said to be a commercial entertainer which is gearing up for a Diwali 2015 release. The first look poster of the film was also out which had the stylish Ajith sporting a red shirt with studs in his ear with a close cut crop and a salt and pepper hair and beard.
