Thalaivaa given U certificate

Actor Vijay’s upcoming film Thalaivaa directed by AL Vijay has been given a U certificate by the Revising Committee with some cuts. The film was originally censored with a UA certificate but the producer appealed for a U and the decision has been reviewed by the Revising Committee. A U certificate will ensure that the film gets tax exemption in Tamil Nadu.

Thalaivaa will be released worldwide on August 9. The Telugu version, Anna-Born to Lead will also be released on the same day. The film produced by Chandraprakash Jain is being distributed by Vendhar Movies.
