Thanga Magan and Gethu on the same day

Thanga Magan featuring Dhanush, Samantha and Amy Jackson is directed by Velraj whose maiden directorial venture Velai Illa Pattadhari was a great hit. The film is gearing up for a release and Dhanush as the producer of the film announced that his film would release on the 18th of December.

On the other hand, Gethu being directed by Thirukumaran of Maan Karate fame had also announced that they would release their film on 18th December. This film is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant movies and features Udhay, Amy Jackson, Vikranth and Karunakaran among others.

Earlier, it was announced that Kathakali featuring Vishal under Pandiraj’s direction will also have the same release date but since Vishal got busy with his Nadigar Sangam election work, he could not allot dates for his films.
