Thanks to daughter, Wahlberg understands women better

Los Angeles, June 8 (IANS) Actor Mark Wahlberg has a better relationship with the women in his life now that he is a father to daughters.

The 42-year-old, who has kids Ella, 10, Michael, eight, Brendan, five, and Grace, four, with wife Rhea Durham, admits he was initially nervous about having a baby girl, but he now says his bond with the female members of his household is "wonderful".

"When I first found out we were having a girl, it was like a little kick in the stomach. My mother was like, 'That's what you get!'" contactmusic.com quoted him as saying.

"But it's really been the greatest thing ever, because I have a wonderful relationship with (my daughter) that's helped in my relationships with women in general," he added.
