The couch, on the popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’ hosted by celebrated filmmaker Karan Johar, has witnessed the most controversial statements that the usually politically correct Bollywood denizens have ever made.

Currently, in its 5th season, the show has already seen several guests, who have happily ditched their diplomatic stance and made some eyebrow-raising comments.

Shah Rukh Khan

The Dear Zindagi actors — Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan kickstarted this season and the Baadshah of Bollywood was at his wittiest best. SRK who has often been targeted as an anti-national uninhibitedly said — “I have to justify my nationalism and you have to justify your love for me.”

The Raees actor further gobsmacked us by saying — “Karan always walks inside the changing room with me. That's life's most embarrassing moment for me.”

Twinkle Khanna

The episode with Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar was undoubtedly one of the most shocking, hilarious, awkward, and romantic episodes the show has ever seen. Not one to mince words, Mrs. Funnybones even left the host Karan Johar speechless with her candid, witty, and unfiltered statements.

She made Karan further awkward by saying — “Don't look at his crotch. I meant his feet. You always have your mind in other people's crotches. It’s his feet-size — 12.”

Karan Johar once again managed the unimaginable by bringing together Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor on his couch. We all know, the Padmavati actor and the Jagga Jasoos actor have one common connection — Deepika Padukone. Deepika was earlier dating Ranbir and is now rumoured to be with Ranveer.

Talking about if there is any awkwardness between them Ranbir said, “I’ve hung out with them. I think they have an amazing creative partnership on screen. And beyond that, just the way they are with each other, they really complement each other well. They are in ways perfect to each other’s energies and I’m really happy for them. And I hope they can see this through and really make some awesome babies together. And I hope that their babies like me and I’m their favourite actor.”

While Ranveer and Deepika have never publicly confirmed their relationship, Ranbir’s statement kinda made it obvious. And even Karan further established this fact during his chat with Priyanka Chopra.

The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director smartly said, “Ram is still with Leela and Ranbir is single.”

Salman Khan

This time the Tubelight star appeared on the show with his brothers — Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan, and was at his candid best.

During the course of the conversation, Salman admitted, “I'm not the nicest guy when it comes to relationships.” When Karan said that he has been in several long-term relationships, the Sultan actor replied, “I was not very good with them.” Must say, it’s quite an honest confession.

Aamir Khan

Mr Perfectionist graced Karan’s couch this season with his Dangal daughters — Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra and made some sincere revelations.

When Karan asked him about, what is the one thing that he dislikes about the Bollywood industry but has to pretend to like it, Aamir with a straight face said, “Your show.” Though he later added that he was kidding.

Tennis player Sania Mirza too made an appearance on the show this year and during the infamous rapid fire round Sania let her guards down and said that if she woke up as Deepika one morning she would leave Ranveer. She said, “I would dump Ranveer so that Ranveer will be single for everyone else.”

Kangana Ranaut

While this one is yet to be aired, the teasers of it are already promising another explosive episode. In the teaser, the Rangoon actress addresses Karan as a movie mafia and says, “In my biopic, if ever it's made, you'll play that stereotypical Bollywood biggie, who is like you know...very snooty and completely intolerant towards outsiders, flag bearer of nepotism, the movie mafia.” Woah!
