Thyagarajan to play a politician in Yeman

Veteran actor/director and actor Prashanth’s dad Thiagarajan will be playing a crucial role in Vijay Antony's Yeman, directed by Jeeva Sankar of Naan fame. It is reported that he will be playing a powerful politician in the film.


Thiagarajan elaborates, "I play a negative character who is a mastermind in politics. Yeman is set against a political backdrop and has many twists and turns. It is a very powerful film. Jeeva Sankar has come up with a hard-hitting script and Vijay Antony will go places after its release." Yeman will soon complete its shooting in the first week of June.


Besides Yeman, Thiagarajan will also be seen in two films that have Shanthnu in the lead, Vaaimai and Boomi. While the former is ready for release, the latter will see him play a visually challenged person Boomi is directed by Padmamagan of Ammuvagiya Naan fame. The entire film is set in Malaysia.
