Tirru replaces Sudheep Chatterjee in Sangamitra

Sanghamithra, reportedly a costlier venture than Baahubali is being funded by Sri Thenandal Films and has Jayam Ravi, Arya and Shruti Haasan on board. The film is directed by Sundar C with AR Rahman’s music.

Earlier on renowned cinematographer Sudheep Chatterjee was brought in as the DoP of the film. But later he withdrew from the project, stating date issues because of the postponement of Hindi film Padmavati. He tweeted, “Really sad to step out of #sangamithra @ThenandalFilms owing to the extension of the Padmavati schedule! Love to the gorgeous team".

But now, National Award winning DoP of Suriya’s 24, has walked into Sanghamitra. He informed this through his tweet that read, “Happy to announce that am on board for #Sangamithra an exciting script and a challenging project with Sundar.C and @ThenandalFilms".
