Tollywood comes forward to help Hudhud Victims
Oct 14, 2014 NRTelugu film industry has teamed up to lend a helping hand to those who lost their lives anad property in the destruction due to Hudhud Cyclone. It all began with actor Ram Charan donating 10 Lakhs to CM Relief fund and 5 Lakhs to Rama Krishna mission, an NGO involved in the relief work. Actor and Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan has announced 50 Lakhs to CM Relief fund while Mahesh Babu and Junior NTR have given 25 Lakhs and 20 Lakhs cheques respectively. Producer Pratap Kolagatla and writer Kona Venkat had announce one lakh each to the CM relief fund.
Manchu Manoj and the team of Current Teega has postponed their this Friday release and are reportedly going to Vishakapatnam and help in the restoration and rehabilitation. It is also said that the entire industry will very soon conduct some fund raising event and will donate money thus collected to the victims of the Hudhud cyclone.
