Tollywood to be shut down on election days

In an attempt to encourage voters to participate in election, Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce had declared April 30th and May 7th as holidays for the industry. This decision will also facilitate all the member of the industry to exercise their right to vote. So, there will not be any film shootings on those days.

Also film theaters will remain closed on these days till 6 PM in the evening. A similar decision was also taken in Kollywood today. It is known that Telangana and Seema Andhra will go to polls on April 30th and May 7th respectively.
