'Traffic' – Hindi remake getting ready

The Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit film ‘Traffic’ is getting ready. Rajesh Pillai, who has directed the Malayalam movie, directs the Hindi version too.


The Hindi film will have the original story with slight modifications to suit the changes in the society during the last three years. There will also be the addition of some commercial elements to suit a Bollywood film. Originally penned by Bobby-Sanjay duo, the variations are done by Suresh Nair and dialogues by Piyush Mishra.


Santhosh Thundiyil, who was the cinematographer of ‘Krish’ and ‘Jai Ho’ wields the camera for this film. Mithun is the music director. The film is produced under the banner of Endemol India.


Manoj Bajpayee, Jimmy Shergill, Parambrata Chatterjee, Vishal Singh, Sachin Khedekkar, Nikita, and Richa Panayi are the main actors in the Hindi remake.


The movie is mainly shot on the Bombay-Pune Express Highway. The post production works are going on in full swing and the movie is expected to hit theatres on the 7th of March.
