Trisha in Saamy 2

This seems to be the season of sequels and prequels in Tamil film industry. We recently saw director Hari’s Singam, 3 which is third in the Singam franchise. Director Hari had some time ago stated in a film event that he would soon be doing Saami 2.

Saamy was a commercial potboiler that featured Vikram as a ruthless cop who brought all the baddies to book in Tirunelveli. Trisha as his pair was fresh and the songs were chartbusters.

While Hari announced that he would be doing Saamy 2 with Vikram, he did not talk about the heroine. But today, Trisha confirmed that she is doing the film through her official Twitter handle.
