Trisha in talks for Queen remake

Queen directed by Vikas Bahl had Kangana Ranaut in the lead and the film talked about the journey and discovery of a young woman whose marriage is called off at the eleventh hour. This film fetched Kangana her National Award for Best Actress.


The remake rights for his film were bought by Thyagarajan, actor, producer and father of Prashanth. The director in Tamil was fixed as Revathy who is known for her directorial features in Hindi, Phir Milengae and Mitr My Friend.


Now the buzz in the industry suggests that Trisha has been approached to reprise Kangana’s role in Tamil. It is also said that in all likelihood, Trisha will accept this because the role is such, a highly woman-centric, which the Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya actress is known to choose these days.
