Trisha opts out of Saamy Square

Saamy Square or Saamy 2 is the sequel of the blockbuster commercial film Saamy which was released almost two decades ago. The sequel is directed by Hari who helmed the state of affairs for the first one too. The film went on floors recently.

The cast consists of Chiyaan Vikram, Keerthy Suresh and Trisha. Of these, Keerthy Suresh is the latest addition but Trisha had played the role of the heroine in the first part. In fact there was wonder among the film fraternity as to what could be Trisha’s role if Keerthy Suresh is said to be the heroine.

Now, Trisha has taken to her microblogger page to inform that she is walking out of the film due to creative differences. She tweeted, “Due to creative differences,I have chosen to opt out of Saamy 2 . Wishing the team goodluck”. We need to wait for an official announcement from the team about her replacement.
