Trisha to join Selva for her next film

Director Selvaraghavan’s last film was Irandam Ulagam starring Arya and Anushka. The film although an ambitious one, did not meet with good response with the audience.

The maverick director recently announced that he would be starting his next with Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music composer and Arvind Krishna as the cinematographer. The film is to be funded by his brother Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films.

The film is said to be having Trisha and Taapsee in lead roles. Confirming her presence and work in the Selvaraghavan film, Trisha tweeted, “Sublimely happy to be on board with the genius #kikassmode”. It has to be noted that Trisha worked with Selva in the Telugu film Aadavaari Maatalaku Ardhalae Verulae”, the Telugu original of Yaaradi Nee Mohini. Simbu will be the lead in the current Selva film which will also have Telugu actor Jagapathy Babu in important role.
