Trisha's next Kutrappayirchi

Feb 3, 2018 JB

Trisha’s Mollywood debut Hey Jude hit the screens yesterday, the 1st of February and has been receiving good response. The slim beauty, has many films in her kitty like Mohini, 96, to name a few and she has signed one more film titled Kutrappayirchi where she plays a private detective.

Touted to be a first in Tamil cinema, with the heroine playing a private detective, the film is directed by Verniq and is set in the 1980s. The story is based on true events, and Trisha will play the role of Rajani Pandit, who's known to be the first woman detective of India.

On why she accepted the film, Trisha says, "It is based on detective Rajani Pandit and all incidents are based on true events. She solved a lot of complicated cases in her time. I liked the script because of the complexities, she's been forced to change identity so many times for her work. That had a very interesting dimension since it's basically one person undertaking different roles. There is a lot of homework to do and I am on it already. We should begin shooting for the film in March”. Click the Movie button below for more info:
