Tumhari Sulu remake in Tamil titled as Kaatrin Mozhi

Tumhari Sulu, the Hindi film where Vidya Balan played a housewife during day time and a radio jockey at night, is being remade in Tamil. It was announced that Radha Mohan will be directing this flick while G Dhananjayan will be funding it. It was also announced that Jyothika will be reprising the role of Vidya Balan in Tamil while Vidharth will be playing the role of her husband.

The title of this film was not announced earlier but the makers had a contest of sorts with clues to the readers to identify the title. Finally, last evening it was announced as Kaatrin Mozhi. Incidentally, this was the first line of the popular song from Radha Mohan’s Mozhi which had Jyothika playing a speech and hearing challenged girl.

As regards other details, Lakshmi Manchu is also part of the cast. Mahesh Muthuswami will handle the camera while National Award winner KL Praveen has been roped in as the editor. The film will go on floors on June 3 in Chennai.
