TV Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar to foray into films

Priya Bhavani Shankar is a popular name in the TV serial Kalyanam Mudhal Kaadhal Varai, a remake of the Hindi TV show, Ye Hai Mohabbatein. She has a huge fan following in the social media. She has also hosted many dance and TV shows.

Now, the actress is planning to enter Tamil film industry through a feature film. The actress, who was busy shooting, took time out to confirm the news and said, “Yes, it is true that I am acting in a feature film. We will be coming out with an official press announcement in 10 or 15 days. I am not supposed to reveal anything more about the film currently.”

Priya is good in academics and is an engineer armed with an MBA. When asked if she had always wanted to venture into films, she says, “When I stopped acting in soaps, I thought that I would end my acting career. But then, when I got this script, I found it good and I am also comfortable working on it. So, I agreed to it.”
