Updates on Kochadaiyaan

Rajinikanth’s animation film Kochadiyaan has been in the making for a long time. The film is directed by his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth. There were rumours that the film was shelved and in order to give a clear picture, one of the producers of the film, Murali Manohar briefed the media recently.

Murali Manohar said that the film’s delay is due to its special effects work. He said that the quality of animation would be on par with Hollywood films like Tin Tin and Avatar and the teaser trailer of the film will be released in a couple of weeks. The audio of the film will be released by end of August or in the first week of September and the film will be a 2013 release.

Kochadaiyaan is a period film and is about a King and his son. Rajini will enact the roles of both the King and the son.
