Vada Chennai begins from today

Director Vetri Maaran who had given us films like Polladhavan and Aadukalam has begun his next Vada Chennai, a trilogy, the first part of which began today, the 22nd June with a poojai.

This film will have Dhanush, Samuthirakani, Samantha, Andrea and Daniel Balaji in the cast list. Sharing the information on a very happy note, Dhanush tweeted, “#vadachennai - trilogy.Started shooting for part 1 today. director of polladhavan,aadukalam @VetriMaaran .bless us”

It is said that the film will start rolling in a specially erected set wherein important scenes will be shot. Earlier it was said that the film will be shot in two parts but now it looks like it will be a three part film. The story is said to track the life of a gangster for thirty year period.
