Vadivelu joins Vijay 61

Vijay 61 directed by Atlee is steadily completing the portions. The unit had recently made an important announcement about certain release dates. The film which was earlier slated to release in 2018, had advanced the release date to Diwali 2017. The first look will be released for Vijay’s birthday on the 22nd of June while the audio will be out in August 2017.

There are some interesting developments in Vijay 61. Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu had joined the unit who is now shooting in EVP theme park in Chennai. The veteran actor who was not part of the earlier schedules, has finally joined the team for the present shoot. It is said that, the entire team will head to Europe for the next schedule.

On the other hand, lyricist Vivek of Poo Avizhum Pozhudu fame has also stated in Twitter that he would be writing the lyrics for Vijay 61. He tweeted, “Thanks to all d well wishers and #Ilayathalapathy vijay sir fans for d innumerable msgs n wishes. Respect ur opinions n Wil giv my best”. Interesting additions indeed!
