Vairamuthu to pen lyrics for Vijay!

The latest from the team of Vijay’s ‘Jilla’ is that Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu is set to write the lyrics for the film. It is being said that he has agreed to write one song for Vijay's ‘Jilla’. Sources say that the song in the film comes at a crucial stage and so the makers thought that Vairamuthu would do justice to the situation with his lyrics and has approached him.

Jilla’s music is being composed by Imman and Nesan directs it which is said to be a thriller based around Madurai. Sources say that Vijay plays a cop in the film and Kajal Aggarwal once again plays his love interest in the film. Their last film together, ‘Thuppakki’ was a block-buster. They are hoping to repeat the magic once again in this commercial entertainer which is said to have plenty of thrills and stunts.

‘Jilla’ has Mohanlal playing a crucial role in the film. Mohanlal makes a comeback in Tamil film after a long time. Ravi Mariya, Vidyulekha Raman and Soori are the other support cast of the film.

Jilla has been filmed in places such as Madurai, Chennai and Hyderabad and is expected to be a Pongal next year.
