Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in Sandakozhi 2

Varalakshmi Sarathkumar after her tremendous performance in Bala’s Thaarai Thappattai is being roped in for many good projects that include Nibunan with Arun Vaidhyanathan which will be releasing soon, Vargam with RK Suresh, Ammayi, Gayathari-Pushkar’s Vikram Vedha and Sibiraj’s Sathya to name some.

Now she has one more interesting film to her kitty. She has been roped in to play a very important role in Sandakozhi 2, the sequel of the much popular film of the same name, helmed by Lingusamy featuring Vishal and Meera Jasmine.

This sequel was announced to have Keerthy Suresh as the heroine but looks like Varalaxmi’s character will be a pivotal one for the story. The film is slated to begin shooting from July and would be wrapped up soon. Varalaxmi’s earlier film with Vishal, Madha Gaja Raja is yet to see the light of the day.
