Varalaxmi on Thaarai Thappattai

Tharai Thappattai directed by Bala hit the screens last week and the film has been receiving mixed response for its story, screenplay and direction. However, one thing that was unanimous about the film was the appreciation that the lead lady Varalaxmi has been getting for her performance.

Talking about the same, Varu as she is fondly called states, “I am very happy firstly because I got to act in a Bala sir film. That is more than any award for me. I just did what he said. It was not like we prepared for the role or anything like that. We were all like clean slate that used to basically follow Bala sir’s directions”.

The outspoken lady has done a role called Sooravali and true to the name, the character has also gained much appreciation. Varalaxmi is currently working in Arun Vaidhyanathan’s film with Prasanna, Arjun and others. Click the Movie button below for more info:
