Varun Dhawan and Deepika Padukone to come together for Shoojit Sircar's October

What really makes a film exciting apart from the content is some fresh casting. And if the buzz that is circulating in B-town is to be believed, Bollywood buffs are going to be treated with a fresh new onscreen jodi of Varun Dhawan and Deepika Padukone.

Recently, the ‘Judwaa 2’ actor confirmed his upcoming movie with Shoojit Sircar on social media by sharing pictures with the brilliant director himself. He wrote, “I have been an ardent fan of Shoojit da's work and have always wanted to work with him. The film is titled ‘October’. Soojit da Ronnie and Juhi have always made good cinema, I'm very lucky to get a chance to work with them.”

And according to recent reports Deepika Padukone will be getting on board along with Varun Dhawan for this exciting new film. The reports further stated that Deepika, who has earlier worked with Shoojit Sircar in ‘Piku’ is keen on doing this film.

Varun expressed his excitement in an interview about his upcoming project. He said, “I am definitely very happy and excited. What’s amazing about him is that he is very sure about his vision. I have met him just now, so I am trying to get into that world, understand it. and the way the film is going to breathe and feel. It’s very different from anything I have done before.”

Shoojit Sircar talking about the film said, “It is not a love story but his take on love. It’s again an out-of-the-box kind of story.” Adding to it he said, “It is a very unusual, unconventional kind of a story in the slice-of-life and romance space.”

It will surely be delightful to see Deepika and Varun together for this unusual story.
