On the new year eve, actor Varun Dhawan requested his Twitter followers and fans (and everyone) not to objectify or disrespect women.

The son of director David Dhawan took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to share his views gender equality and mutual respect.

“In 2015 if you follow me or even like me a little promise to not objectify women and disrespect them treat them as people”, he tweeted on Thursday.

After debuting with “Student Of The Year”, the actor has found a special place in the tinsel town.

This year, Varun has mixed movies like “Badlapur” and "ABCD 2” in his kitty.
