Varun Manian to fund Jai-Thiru project

Varun Manian’s Radiance Media has been churning out best films in a short span of time. Collaborating with Sushant Prasad and Govindaraj of Film Department, filmmaker Thiru of Vishal starrer Naan Sigappu Manithan has been signed up to helm a new project starring Jai in a lead role.

Much like the previous films of Thiru, this untitled new film will have its own uniqueness with a bunch of top-notch technicians like Thaman for music, Richard M Nathan for cinematography, Ruben as editor, Jacky for art and Niranjani for costumes.

A major portion of the film will be shot in the backdrops of Kollywood’s fondly ennobled lucky city of Kumbakonam and Chennai. Shedding light on this new project, Thiru says, “It’s going to be a very special film in my career and is so close to my heart. The chemistry between Jai and Thaman is surely going to click well with this project.” The teaming is looking out for a female lead and will be finalized shortly.
